102.3

102.3 degrees is the highest his temp got this evening before I brought out the meds. He soaked in a cornstarch bath to soothe certain areas. Now he's in bed resting and I'm trying to do some laundry since we've gone through a week's worth in 2 days. Or at least it feels like that much. It's looking like we're staying home tomorrow as well...

On a lighter note, yesterday Matthew told me he wanted up, I asked if he wanted another bite first. He responded with, "I WANT UP!" Doesn't get much clearer than that.

Hope the little guy starts to feel better! It is hard when they don't feel good!

Oh, you poor dear!
Miserable and sick as he is, Matthew may have the easier time here--all he has to do is blast out gush and wail. You have to comfort, clean, soak, and medicate the baby. ALSO clean up the gush that wasn't otherwise contained, and do the laundry. All of this while trying to keep all the bacteria contained so YOU don't catch it.
How do you DO all of that?!

Well, sometimes I'm not successful, but Lysol is a good friend to have. As a mom, the baby breaks you in pretty quickly. Isn't that right dwindlingdreams? Matthew acts like he feels better today, but still has a fever and very nasty diapers. By tomorrow it will be a thing of the past I'm sure.
