New job

Within 3 days and 3 days of school starting, I have a new job, sortof. I'm going to be reassigned to work in the daycare at the school. This means I'll have my normal hours and then some. It's the best possible outcome, but of course my boss is very sad and upset that I had to leave the ASP. This also means that I will get to work with Matthew. I am taking the place of Bailey, so it's good for Matthew, I think. I know he would miss her horribly and would have cried when I tried to drop him off. This way, we won't have those problems. I'm actually looking forward to starting school Monday. A whole 3 days sooner then I was supposed to. Yea! Maybe we won't starve this year!

I'm so happy that you are looking forward to school starting!!! It's the best of all possible worlds! BTW, no 'starving' is allowed. One of these days we'll have to plant vegetable gardens again! And if that mythical bucket calf turns out to be a heifer, you will have fresh milk in a few years!!! Lovingly milked by yourself of course!

Bucket calf? Did someone mention Bucket Calf?!!

Congratulations, Anne. That sounds wonderful. I am proud of you and glad for all who will gain from your new job.

Thanks for all the support everyone. Great to hear from you Maurine! Today is the first day of school for me and Matthew and I'm afraid he's not feeling good. I'll wait till a little later to make the call...man it'd really stink to have to call in to work the very 1st day! Luckily they know me so I doubt they'd think I was just blowing work off.

In response to the bucket calf situation, I just wish to say I don't think we'll be lovingly milking any cows unless we have too!
