At the end of the day, he had an awesome pit dug, a wonderful dog wallow, and he'd found a discarded indian spearhead that wasn't finished because it broke wrong. Awesome day.

The story behind About a Bug
Ever wonder why this site is called About a Bug? Well, that would be my fault. Hours after I had Matthew, I started calling him my bug-a-boo. He was just so cute and precious. Slowly over time he became my bug and more family members adopted that as a nickname. When we decided to start the blog, it seemed only appropriate to call it "about a bug," because isn't everything about the baby? Matthew thinks so.

That boy is a worker--at least when it is what he wants to do. Digging holes was SO much fun!
(No implication intended that he is a slacker if he doesn't like the task--just that I don't know, and can comment only on what I see...)
The dogs AND the boy like playing in the dirt around the tree!
Matthew loves to be busy, it's hard to find stuff he loves to do that does keep him busy. He was outside most of the day yesterday. I love days like that!
