The story behind About a Bug
Ever wonder why this site is called About a Bug? Well, that would be my fault. Hours after I had Matthew, I started calling him my bug-a-boo. He was just so cute and precious. Slowly over time he became my bug and more family members adopted that as a nickname. When we decided to start the blog, it seemed only appropriate to call it "about a bug," because isn't everything about the baby? Matthew thinks so.

I just read your little "story behind the bug" thing - I used to call Kiddo "Bug-a-boo" too! How on earth did we pick that up??
Hope you get some sunshine soon! Did your seedlings freeze?
Kirsten, no because I have them inside, but since they are started too soon technically, I may have to start them again. I really just did it for an experiment.
As for bug-a-boo, I think I picked it up from an online fabric shop selling baby fabric! It just seemed so cute I called him that! Now Matthew corrects me and says "Mom, I'm a man-boy." (Me again...) I thought I'd better explain the name for the random person trying to get bug tips...
I like the snow coming down in the last photo. Very pretty.
