Hot water

As in, we have none. Our hot water heater ruptured, which means that it can't be fixed. (I'm guessing from the damage, that it was this way before the last tenants left.) It has leaked for at least the last week. Since it's wall shares our bedroom wall, our bed had to be moved because it was standing in the wet carpet. Here's hoping that the new one comes tomorrow afternoon!

Ugh! We had that happen years ago in our old house. It was a mess and it was just on a concrete utility room floor in the basement. I can't imagine the mess with it leaking next to the bedroom. I'll send happy water heater thoughts your way for a speedy replacement.

I am very sorry to hear this! Your carpet may need to be replaced too. You don't want mold and mildew to build up. At the very least, a wet vac might suck up some of the moisture. Good luck!

We've had 3 water heaters since we moved in so I completely understand the frustration. Good luck getting it fixed.

Meant to add that it's 3 water heaters in 4 years! Knock on wood that we won't need another one.

I bet it was a mess Judy! I hope it doesn't happen in your newly remodeled one!

Jenny! 3!!!! I can't believe it! Do you show second-hand? Just teasing, but seriously I hope they were under warranty because that's really bad.
