2 weeks

We've been here 2 weeks and already someone has stolen our flag pole that Phil decided to leave outside. It didn't even have the eagle attached. So we have a flag, an eagle topper, and no pole. GRRRRR...Now I'm wondering what's next...

Dang. That just isn't right, and I am sorry that your flag pole was stolen. Unfortunately, it is fairly common in urban areas. Things are stolen. Even in Brookside. I wish that weren't so.

That is weird. Why would anyone want it without the topper? I'm sorry.

I guess you don't dare leave a toy out either, not even to go in for a minute! That's too bad. I bet it is kind of a culture shock after living here!

Welcome to a bigger city. We really can't leave anything outside. Apparently, that's a "come take this free stuff" kinda thing. Sorry it was stolen.

Yeah me too. Really, what good is basically a metal pole in several sections? It didn't even have all the stuff you need to make it work! I've since moved Matthew's toys back in the garage like his bike and humvee, because I never thought they were safe outside.

So does this mean you can't even leave out decorations like wreaths on the outside of the door or pumpkins, or little flags? I'm so glad I live in a smaller community, but I think there are lots of advantages to city living that we don't have.

Wow a flag pole? I don't understand why someone would take the flag pole but at least it wasn't a car.
