Becoming a real boy

He built his first gun today. I was hoping we'd put off this boy fixation for a few more years!

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter! Matthew and I will be spending the day in the car heading north. Miss you already Phil!

He told me he was building one. So this is what it looks like. Sigh...

I think there are many ways to be a "real boy." Real boys can create art, make guns, sing and dance, rough-house, practice being a daddy, climb rocks, write poems, get into fist-fights, love their pets--
They might even respect both their parents and hug them both.

And kiss them both, no matter how old the real boy is.

LOl- I agree with Auntie. There are many ways to be a real boy and I'm not surprised that he built a gun after all his daddy is a soldier.
