Kids, kittens, kin and krazy birds

Kids.

Krazy bird convention.

A little closer shot.

Look at those krazy birds hanging out on the tin roof!

Then mid-morning the pot of iris seeds sprouts a kitten. Too Many looks so sleepy.

The kid attacks again. Using Daddy's pencil this time.

It's a work of art. It will be hard to prime and paint over...

Then an hour later the iris pot had sprouted 2 kittens. I had no idea I was in the kitten sprouting business.

And finally, the kin. We had a great time Saturday showing Auntie around our house and playing with her. She brought the most awesome Sour Cherry Jam with her as a gift. It's delish!

So the kid got his car stuck in the door frame, or could he get it out when he wanted to? I bet those crazy birds are excited about their plans to fly south! And as for those iris seeds--I've not seen anything in the seed catalogs like what your sprouts look like! But your 'sprouts' surely are cute! Could they be pussy willow sprouts?

No, it's not stuck. He's already moved it again. Yes, I think all the types of swallows were discussing flight plans. I haven't noticed any around lately, but that doesn't mean they have gone south. I never thought that they might be pussy willows. I'll have to research that. Of course it's hard when my "specimen" keeps disappearing.

Both a you is nuts. They are obviously cattail sprouts.

Love the little artist! I haven't seen cats grown in that manner before, very interesting! Kim

Well, maybe it's one of each, pussy willow and cattails!

Do you think that if I set out a little feed trough I could get some bucket pigs to sprout?

After this year, I'd believe almost anything possible. :) But more likely you'd end up with trough kittens, I mean cattails.
