It is an Old Court Variety shasta daisy. I love finding the unusual and beautiful varieties. This one has so much more personality then normal ones, I think. It apparently is an older variety.
I love the flower photos they give me hope for next years "flower garden." Which reminds me, I finally repotted the palm tree and placed it out on the balcony- he seems to be doing much better and is quite happy outside (I just have to remember to bring him in when autumn hits). AMT
Ever wonder why this site is called About a Bug? Well, that would be my fault. Hours after I had Matthew, I started calling him my bug-a-boo. He was just so cute and precious. Slowly over time he became my bug and more family members adopted that as a nickname. When we decided to start the blog, it seemed only appropriate to call it "about a bug," because isn't everything about the baby? Matthew thinks so.

Glorious garden! I can almost smell their fragrances...isn't the Internet a true blessing! All your hard work has truly rewarded us all.
Thank you! Since we don't have many guests, it's nice to be able to share via the internet.
They sure are pretty!
I totally agree with everyone else's comments! They are beautiful. I especially admire that raggedy petaled last one. What is it's name? I forgot!
I want to know the frizzly one's name, too!
