I have never decorated a gingerbread house, so I decided this was the year to try. And the kit I bought had broken all apart.
So instead of decorating it, we had to ice it back together and let it dry for awhile.
It then looked like it had been through an earthquake which caused the pipes to burst and water to freeze all over.
At least it was in one piece.
Angela helped us to decorate it.
I iced it, Mom smoothed.
From how it started, I think it turned out rather well.

It turned out GREAT! Did you take it home to eat?
They left it at our house. I guess I should put it in the freezer for them. I might eat an icicle first! Heehee...
You can eat as much as you want Mom. I really never planned to eat it Auntie. I'm not sure everyone's hands were as clean as they should have been for eating purposes. Matthew did alot of eating along the way. Sugar glue is very yummy you know.
you guys did a great job on the gingerbread house! very talented people and looks like you had a fun time too :) glad you had a great holiday season!
love, Elisa
I'm still particularly proud of my candy-cane doors and windows; my trees and shrubs don't look bad either. It was a lot of fun and I hope we get to do it again.
