The story behind About a Bug
Ever wonder why this site is called About a Bug? Well, that would be my fault. Hours after I had Matthew, I started calling him my bug-a-boo. He was just so cute and precious. Slowly over time he became my bug and more family members adopted that as a nickname. When we decided to start the blog, it seemed only appropriate to call it "about a bug," because isn't everything about the baby? Matthew thinks so.

WAIT! I know those blocks!
Your mom's had the channels cut in the sides, and the background cut in relief to the borders and letters. I had the big pine ones with the dyed green edges!!!! Who knew they would survive?!
Anyway, that is a charming display!
See and Mom didn't think that they were you guys blocks, but I thought they had been! Fun what we remember and what we don't.
Hmmm. All fairness to your mom, I played with them 3 or 4 yrs after she did. ( Some day I need to go thru your toy stash!)

I like your display! And I did recall the ones with channels in them. I just thought those belonged to both of us and the others didn't.
