Matthew couldn't quite wrap his mind around the fact that the TV was gone so he couldn't watch his movie! I think I saw that bird this afternoon, it was over on the west fence.
Kate is right time does march on.....I promise to take good care of your home and your yard and you can come and go as you wish after all it is your house I'm just borrowing it for awhile :|
I think the bird is a goldfinch. We get orioles, eastern bluebirds, scissor tailed flycatchers, several swallows, many sparrows, meadowlarks, turkeys, hawks, great horned owl, blue jays, cardinals and probably tons more. It's a great spot for birdwatching.
Ever wonder why this site is called About a Bug? Well, that would be my fault. Hours after I had Matthew, I started calling him my bug-a-boo. He was just so cute and precious. Slowly over time he became my bug and more family members adopted that as a nickname. When we decided to start the blog, it seemed only appropriate to call it "about a bug," because isn't everything about the baby? Matthew thinks so.
