Pink KittenMom proposed the other day that we have a contest to see who's irises open first. (We ruled out the mini irises that are already blooming.) This little beauty has just won me a blizzard for opening today! What "sweet" success.

You think this was bad, next yr Mom and Dad are plotting to put out grow lights!
Ha! Now I KNOW you all were cut from the same cloth! BTW, several of my iris have buds--not just the one.
And Mom's first iris opened today so it was a close contest! I'm so glad you have several buds!
