Preparing for Halloween, in August
Ribbit, Ribbit! Matthew noticed his frog costume in the closet today. He insisted on putting it all on. He wanted to wear the "frog shoes" and "frog hat" all day long. I had to force him out of it when he wanted to go outside and play. I think he has decided to be a frog again for Halloween. Sorry Phil!
A picture of the wreath transformed in a summertime mix. This conclusively proves that the wreath can effortlessly go from V-day to the end of summer. Love it! I'm working on my fall wreath as I type this. Once it is done I'll have a wreath for every season. And almost every holiday, except for maybe the 4th of July.

RIBBITT, he makes a wonderful frog! Your wreath is gorgeous too.
Didn't you tell me that it is NEVER to early to plan for Halloween? Or is that just for me.
I love the frog costume- he is so cute (didn't I already say that?).
The wreath is, also, cute and "summery."
Did Phil have hopes for something specific, or "ANYTHING but the frog!"
Anything but that stupid frog! "I felt so sorry for him," he said. But yet again this morning, "frog hat, frog shoes? Yes?"
No it's never too early to plan, just maybe too early to excute.
Maybe we should get him some more costumes so that he has a choice when playing dress up??? But the frog is the cutest ever!!!
Your mom and I used to have a great time playing dress-up with a box of old clothes and shoes! Who knows how Matthew will feel by Halloween. He might want to be a power ranger, cowboy, prince, or Army Dude... And Phil might see how much Matthew loves his frog suit.
Yes, I think I should start laying in a supply of costumes. It'd be easier if he was a girl, because I could just raid my makeup and closet! Of course Phil has a few small BDU's from when he first joined the army the kid might be able to wallow around in, in a couple years. Or 10...
