My first memories (over 50 yrs old now) are of being in my parents" bed, gloriously happy and feeling loved!

And those "momeries" of weekend mornings with my kids tucked in with me, watching cartoons or reading the funny papers together are incredible blessings.

Even potty traing will have an up-side when he's grown!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-778105742907715934.post-50143051422619356972009-05-19T11:44:00.000-05:002009-05-19T11:44:00.000-05:00I bet you'd have been as crinked up as a big Z. I know I could crawl in and out of it and pop the mattress on it's side to ride like a horse, but I still wanted to stay there. Thank goodness for Strawberry Shortcake. If you couldn't have bribed me out with them I don't know what you would have done!

In the summer I liked to nap on my parents bed, before falling asleep in my own, because it was so big and cool. My room got sun all day and could be rather not cool at bedtime. I guess there is some major comfort from your parents bed...

I think the time is coming for Matthew to roar about not wanting to potty train or where big boy undies! Thanks for sharing that great memory! The authorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01636620408978317283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-778105742907715934.post-6235231755580566472009-05-19T06:56:00.000-05:002009-05-19T06:56:00.000-05:00My little guy used to roar, "STOP TALKING ABOUT TH...My little guy used to roar, "STOP TALKING ABOUT THAT BED!" and 'STOP TALKING ABOUT THAT UNDERWEAR!" when it was time to move out of his baby bed, also about move from pull-ups to big-boy underwear. I remember Mom's bed as huge, soft, covers big enough to tunnel under, smelled good.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-778105742907715934.post-32127629102846241882009-05-18T22:40:00.000-05:002009-05-18T22:40:00.000-05:00I think almost everyone I encountered today was ti...I think almost everyone I encountered today was tired. This is a tiring month, but fun! Maybe it will be easy for your boy when it is time for him to make the switch to a big boy bed--unlike someone I could mention who was dismayed by having to give up her baby bed!!!Guess who!noreply@blogger.com
